Overview

For contributors, pull request should be done on the "Developer" branch. The "main" branch is for the release.

IMPORTANT NOTES (READ ME FIRST)

•xManager is created using Sketchware Pro for android (https://github.com/Sketchware-Pro/Sketchware-Pro).
•xManager uses Sketch2Any for converting the project to Android Studio (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sketch2any).
•xManager only uses Firebase Database as its API.
•No trackers, no spywares or any other malicious codes has been added on the source code. What you see on the source code is what's inside the build apk. You can extract the apk for yourself.
•The source code that can be seen here is what's inside the exported zip file for Android Studio.
•There are some instance that the source code is unbuildable, some parts might be missing and such due to limitations.
•Most of the internal changes can only be seen in MainActivity.java. The file size already reached 1MB and Github won't allow us to edit and do further changes/commits unless removing and re-adding the new updated files.
•Users might experience downtime and maintenance when using the manager app since we are manually changing the hosting links of each individual files from time to time.
•xManager is completely free and we do not get any comissions with it.
•We will support the app as long as we can. Internal improvements may not guaranteed.

How It Works

Depending on what variant or version the user wants to install, the manager will directly fetch that selected url data. Once completed, the selected file can now be installed.

All links are available publicly. IF, you know what it means then you know what it is.

About The Project

The successor from our previous manager app called "xSpotify Manager" that was released way back 2020 developed by xC3FFF0E and with the help of Sherlock Holmes.

We decided to create an app where people can easily manage and install all versions of the spotify app from their devices.

Our aim is to make a simple yet very useful manager app for everyone's convenience. On this second version of the manager app, we added a couple of features such as the ability to uninstall, open the app's settings directly, clear the offline cached datas and launch the app. We hope that all users find these newly added features very useful.

Downloading file stuck at 0 percent for xManager 3.5 (Still Occurring)
Describe the bug The latest Spotify version mod when I install with xManager it says downloading file but it is stuck at 0 percent.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Go to xManager 3.5

Click on Spotify (Regular)

And click on Spotify version 8.7.30.1221 for (ARM64-V8A)

And the error should be that it won't install the file.

Expected behavior The installation is stuck at 0 percent for me.

Additional context I think there something wrong during the installation process of Spotify in xManager 3.5 and also could be database issues and traffic over with it.

All downloads stuck at 0%

When I try to download any of the versions (AMOLED/Regular) it gets stuck at 0% and doesn't do anything. My device is a Samsung Galaxy A53 5G and I've tried with Wi-Fi and Data. I've also tried downloading older versions of Spotify or Xmanager and still doesn't work. Anyone has the same problem or knows how to solve it?

4.2 offers 30 second ad but no download.

When trying to download/update Spotify, Clicking download presents a 30 second ad, then shows "reward granted" but offers nothing other than install button for the ad product. There's no download link, no download starts, no way to get to the download file shows. Clicking the "x" by reward granted closes the ad to show the xmanager main page. Clicking download again presents another 30 second ad, Rinse and repeat.

Removed telemetry and analytics?

Hi.

I started using this version of spotify, and I fucking love it! Thanks for the hard work.

After checking some logs from NextDNS, it seems that this version of spotify connects to way less spyware domains than the official one.
Did you remove the parts that send diagnostic/analytics data to spotify? Would this improve privacy aswell? Thanks

Can't Download Any Song

Currently playing bar disappearing

In the current spotify version (both regular and amoled) the bar at the bottom of the app, which displays the currently played song, is disappearing. I am not perfectly sure, which actions lead to this bug.

I tested on two cell phones, they are:

I can install because I know where the buttons are.

[Feature Request] Transparent navigation bar in lyrics view

Description of the new feature / enhancement

When viewing the lyrics of a song, it doesn't look very clean because of the presence of the black navigation bar. Since this is a modified version, is it possible for the nav bar to be hidden? For example, when viewing canvas mode of a song, the navigation bar completely disappears and the app switches into immersive mode. Meanwhile in the lyrics view, the app only hides the status bar. I have attached some screenshots to show what I mean. Thank you for this excellent mod.

Above is the first screenshot and as you can see the navigation bar is visible and creates a black overlay on top of the lyrics. This unfortunately results in a very unclean look.

This is a second screenshot I took in Spotify's canvas mode. When an artist's GIF is displayed here, the app hides both the status and navigation bars and it results in a very clean, full screen, look.

My Samsung S20 allows for the hiding of the navigation bar and would you lets me have a clean full screen look. However, this feature is not available on the Pixel lineup. I'm not sure if it's available on other devices.

I really hope that this can be changed. I posted the same issue on Spotify's feature request forms but they took it down pretty quickly stating that it was out of their control.

Description of the new feature / enhancement

Have the selected playlist filters persist between app restarts, this would be a QoL addition which would make getting to your preferred playlists a bit more streamlined
