This app brings Privacy dashboard features from Android 12 to older android devices.

Have you ever thought which apps are accessing your privacy permission without telling you? Well! Now you don't have to, as Privacy dashboard will keep track of that.

App has simple and clear timeline view of accesses to location, microphone and camera.

This app mainly focuses on bringing features of "Privacy Dashboard" as seen in DP2 of android 12 to older devices.

  • Accessibility Setting: To get app usage for location, microphone and camera without having the direct access to camera or microphone, so more privacy.

    Accessibility service will now be highlighted

    When clicking "Open settings" button from the MainActivity takes you to Accessibility settings where you need to enable the required service.

    This PR will highlight the Privacy Dashboard service when Accessibility setting is launched from the app. This is a useful visual information for the user if the service is lost in the pool of other services.

    I allow PD to auto-launch in the battery => auto launch management (in both Auto launch and secondary launch) but the Accessibility features do not auto-start rendering the PD not working until I manually turn on the app's Accessibility features.     Prevent OLED burn-in

    A lot, if not the majority of smartphones these days use OLED screens, which are subject to a phenomena called burn-in. In short, if an image is displayed for a long time at the same position, the pixels at that position degrade over time and the image is slowly being burned in, permanently leaving a shallow but certainly noticeable version of the image behind.

    Since Privacy Dashboard also displays the permission bubbles while the screen is "off", or at least, locked and displaying an AoD, it will eventually cause this.

    I understand that this might be a low priority request as it usually takes some time for OLEDs to actually show signs of burn-in, but there's a reason why all (good) Always-on-Displays shift the image they're displaying a few pixels from time to time.
