JED is mod that adds descriptions to every item in Minecraft with a simple UI!

To contribute to JED, join our discord. We are looking for both authors and translators, so join even if you only speak English!

Integrating JED support into your mods / resourcepacks

To integrate JED support into your mods or resourcepacks, simply create a jed folder in your assets folder. For example:

assets/minecraft/jed/ for Minecraft descriptions.
assets/ /jed/ for custom mods.

Inside this folder, create .json files similar to the language format. These must be titled with the correct language ID, for example en_us or ru_ru. An example json is shown below:

pack.mcmeta still uses "examplemod" as its name

Title says it all. Examplemod is used instead of mod title in the description part of the pack.mcmeta file right here: https://github.com/Cy4Shot/JED/blob/main/src/main/resources/pack.mcmeta EDIT: Yes, this has no functional purpose and seems kinda overcritical. I am just trying to bring this up early on so it isn't overlooked at a later point. This is what early versions and betas are for.

Changing tooltip_activation_time config

Greetings!, first, thank you so much for the mod, it's amazingly usefull.

The issue i have is, when i go to the config file and change the tooltip_activation_time to, lets say 200.0 ticks, and start the game, immediatelly goes back to 20.0 every time.
